History

New Tech, which started on June 16, 1996 as a small company with five employees, can now rightly consider itself one of the larger companies in Suriname with a workforce of more than ninety members.
In the beginning we focused mainly on the sale and installation of electronic components (dvd, tv etc.), household appliances (washing machines etc.), window and split units and louvers. Soon our diversification developed less in width and more in depth. Now our daily activities are mainly focused on the sale, installation and maintenance of residential and commercial air conditioning and ventilation systems.
We do our part in keeping the earth clean by selling new air conditioners that contain an environmentally friendly coolant (R410 or – as Carrier calls it – “Puron”), which does not harm the ozone layer.
New Tech has always focused on selling customized solutions to each client. These are always energy-efficient solutions that ultimately save the client money.
New Tech NV is a company that performs various technical activities and was founded in 1996 by Mr. Jamil Mekdessi (MSEE Electrical Engineer). New Tech NV specializes in the custom design, supply and installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems and their controls.
In addition to our specialists, we have modern resources, such as a central warehouse with various workshops, various company vehicles, tools, modern means of communication and quality controllers. This enables us to perform our work adequately, efficiently and with high quality. In our work preparation department, the work is prepared so that assembly and installation on site can take place in the shortest possible time.
Our customer base consists of various small and large companies in Suriname and the region, but also private individuals, who all like to use our expertise, our quality products and our customer-friendliness in order to arrive at environmentally friendly and energy-saving solutions.
